Ann M. Redmon-Hudson
Ann Marie Redmon-Hudson, 55, of Carmel, Indiana - formerly of Lafayette, passed away Sunday, July 10, 2022.
Ann was born January 30, 1967, in Lafayette to the late Charles D. and Thelma (Tyrell) Redmon. Ann was a 1985 graduate of McCutcheon High School and then attended Purdue University, majoring in Interior Design.
Her marriage of 34 years was to James R. “Jim” Hudson on March 19, 1988, at St. Boniface Catholic Church in Lafayette; he survives.
Ann was Sales Manager for Native Floral for the last 15 years, supplying Costco with fresh-cut flowers. Previously, Ann worked in retail management with men’s clothing and in home mortgage sales. Her real job was wife and mom, holding down the fort while the boys went out and achieved their dreams. She was Taiylor’s best friend and cheerleader, taking her to all her school activities and sporting events.
Ann was a great mom; she was kind, loving, and supportive. She enjoyed watering her flowers and spoiling her rescue dogs and grandkids. Spending time on the beach in Florida was special to her as well.
Surviving with her husband, Jim, are their children, Neil Hudson (wife: Bailey) and Taiylor Hudson, both of Carmel; and a brother, David Redmon (wife: Marilyn) of Seabreeze, Fl. Ann adored her grandchildren, Maverick and Maxwell.
Preceding her in death with her parents are two sisters, Phyllis Overly (husband: Bruce) and Linda Biddle, and a brother, Daniel F. Redmon.
Because of Ann’s love for animals, memorials may be made in her name with the Hamilton or Clinton County Humane Societies.
